What counts as an Active Contact?+
Anyone you're actually in conversation with in a billing month — a DM in either direction, a flow run, a reply from your inbox — counted once, no matter how many messages, flows, or purchases follow. Followers who never enter a conversation cost nothing. You pay for real conversations, not audience size.
What happens if I reach my Active Contacts limit?+
No surprise bills — extra usage is off by default. We email you as you approach the line, and at the limit your automations simply stop starting conversations with new contacts until the month resets or you upgrade (conversations already underway keep running). If you'd rather never miss a lead, you can turn on extra usage in Billing with a hard cap you control — extra contacts, or a fixed budget — and it never bills past your cap.
How does the free trial work?+
Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial — full access to everything in the plan you pick. A card is required at checkout, but you won't be charged until the trial ends, and you can cancel anytime before then.

Is automation safe for my account?+
Ravela only uses the official Instagram API — no password sharing, no unofficial tricks. Sends are paced within platform rate limits, messaging windows are enforced automatically, and opt-outs are honored as a hard stop. The rules are built in so you never have to think about them.
